Symptoms Can Include

Vomiting

Sudden onset of foul-smelling diarrhea

Blood in the stool

Dehydration

Weight loss

Change in coat

Preventative Measures

Avoid sharing bowls

No drinking from puddles

Be sure to pick up after your dog to prevent the spread

Avoid areas with high concentrations of feces, e.g., grassy play areas and unclean daycare facilities
